Hey everyone, if you do feel like coming down to the
Emma Skipp and friends event on Saturday 3rd March
where I'll be exhibiting, YOU CAN PAY ON THE
DOOR if you don't want to get tickets in advance so that
might make it easier. Its 7pm Sat 3rd March at Arrow
Valley Visitors Centre. Licensed bar, live bands,
comedians, Art exhibitions....

I decided to stay in the warm and send my nephews out to
fetch the fish n chips on their own tonight. Don't worry
about the danger aspect, I'm going to give them both a
sharp implement and tell them to run

I thought I might be the only one getting so upset about
the demise of books and so in love with that I use them
in art but apparently there's a whole popular art
movement emerging all based around books. Altered
books, books as the base material for sculptures, book
installation pieces, book 'autopsies'...

Yesterday I was talking about the fact that I've discovered
I'm not alone in my passion for celebrating my love of
books by making an art form out of them but feel quite
