in this piece is a little war
time packet of buttons -
the packet states that the
buttons are of pre-war quality and only the packaging (a
little strip of card) is for austerity. I love little details like
that.

Just saw an advert saying: "365 things to do in Coventry
before you die" Surely to God there's only ONE thing to
do in Coventry before you die - Get out of Coventry
Plus, why have they said "...things to do in Coventry before
you die"? You might not necessarily DIE in
Coventry....you might just get really badly beaten up!

For today's torture, my nephews made me get on their new
"Wii Fit" and have my overall 'fitness' assessed by a
patronising virtual personal trainer. Having stood on the
'Balance Board' and entered my details it turns out I'm
overweight and 'unbalanced' with the body of a 60 year
old.
Well yeh, but now they also know I've got the body of a
60 year old and I was trying to hide that under the stairs
in the flats ‘til I got chance to burying it!
