b. Expected result
As analyzed above, the following calculations
apply to container goods that are multimodal
transported by LCL and FCL.
Suppose for customers in Hanoi, Bac Ninh,
Bac Giang, Vinh Phuc, Phu Tho ... the completion of
customs procedures for import and export goods and
delivery is usually at Hai Phong seaport. Thus, if
there are n customers in Hanoi, Hung Yen, Bac Ninh
and Bac Giang, there will be n trips arising from
these areas to Hai Phong. Accordingly, there is a
huge extravagance of social resources, overload of
the terminal system, as well as traffic and overload
for the Customs at the port.
