The 182 students making up the
Class of 2016 received a total of
$24,189,790.00 in college scholar-
ships. Hope Dormer, valedictorian
addressed the congregation at the
beginning of the graduation ceremony.
Salutatorian, Valerie Natole addressed

Thursday night at the Senior Awards

Graduation was held Monday,
June 6, 2016 at St. Joseph’s Church.
Fr. Scott Shaffer, pastor and director
of Donovan Catholic presided over
the Baccalaureate Mass and con-
ferred diplomas along with principal,
Dr. Edward Gere to the newest class
of alumni, the Class of 2016!

Donovan Catholic proudly announces
two appointments to the military, Zachary
Crosio will be attending the US Merchant
Marine Academy. Zachary was one of
approximately 250 appointees selected
to attend the academy out of over 2,200
applicants from around the nation and
world. The appointment is equivalent of a
scholarship valued at $250,000.00 for a
4–year period. Classmate James
Urcinole is joining the US Marine Corps
Reserve.
