2.2.1.2.3 Attributing a CAD body
When the file is imported into Studio, the attribution will be set to “None”, meaning that the geometry
has no meaning to the simulation. To change the attribution, simply double-click on the object and set
the Attribute to “Part”.

2.2.1.2.4 Model Thickness
When evaluating results from simulation, it is important to know the thickness variation throughout the
part. This quick exercise can provide insight into possible challenges such as Hesitation, Racetracking / Commented [GU3]: changed and to can -SS
Leading, Shear Heating profile, etc. within the part.

Use the scale Upper/Lower Value sliders to manipulate the color scale on the model. The values can give
a general idea of thickness variation using the color variation on the part.
