in our lives (See Hebrews 12:6-11).
And, yes, God does discipline His children,
and parents who love their children God’s
way will also discipline their children to
impress upon them that there are painful
consequences for disobedience and for
ungodly choices that we make in life.
Although born-again children of God can
never lose their sonship relationship with
their Heavenly Father, we will painfully reap
what we sow in this life when we choose to
indulge the carnal and ungodly desires of
our sinful nature.
