"An adaptive attitude to change by utilizing technology will play an important role for the future
of the creative industry," the minister noted in her speech during a virtual podcast organized by
Vokraf, Thursday.
While highlighting the second measure, Fauziyah called on creative industries to collaborate with
one another. Under a collaboration scheme, creative industry players can share their ideas and
resources to bolster their respective creative works.
The minister's third step called for creative industry players to boost their competence and
capitalize on flexibility. This is since if they possess competence and skills, they could drive
creativity.
"Hence, the competence and skills of creative industry players must continue to be honed," the
minister stated.
Fauziyah further envisions a bright future for the creative industry since creativity was one of the
most sought-after skills in future jobs.
According to the minister, this was apparent from the studies conducted by various institutions
and studies from the Ministry of Manpower, which estimated that in the era of the Industrial
Revolution 4.0, there would be numerous new jobs and skills, chiefly linked to Information
Technology and creative industries.
"I believe that when our economy revives from the pandemic, the creative economy sector will
boom again and grow rapidly in future," she affirmed.
