              INDONESIAN MANPOWER MINISTER APPOINTED AS CHAIR OF ASEAN LABOR
              MINISTERS MEETING

              Manpower Minister Ida Fauziyah has recently been appointed as the chair of the ASEAN Labor
              Ministers Meeting (ALMM) to lead the regional labor ministers over the 2020-2022 period. ALMM
              is conducted as an attempt to support the recovery and resilience of all workers affected by the
              pandemic and the digital disruption.

              In a hybrid meeting taking place on Oct. 28 in Jakarta, Ida immediately led the 26"' ALMM after
              completing  the  handover  of  chairmanship  from  Malaysian  Human  Resources  Minister  rep-
              resented by his Deputy Minister Tuan Haji Awang Bin Hashim, who chaired the meeting for the
              2018-2020 period.

              "This year,  it's  Indonesia's  turn  to  lead  the ASEAN  cooper-ation on  labor  for the  2020-2022
              period," Ida said.
