DICKEY LAKE ROAD CONSTRUCTION
UPDATE
We’re excited to share the latest developments
on the road construction project at Dickey
Lake! Our Roads crew has been working
diligently to enhance the quality and safety of
our roadways. Here’s an update on the
progress:
Skene Road: Skene Road has undergone
significant improvements. The process
began with pulverizing the existing surface, followed by grading and compacting the base.
New gravel has then been carefully reshaped and compacted to ensure a secure foundation.
This preparation sets the stage for the final grading and a double surface treatment, which
will be executed by Greenwood Paving. These steps are crucial for delivering a smoother,
more durable road surface for all travelers. Jenison Road Jenison Road is also seeing
important upgrades. We are currently addressing two specific sections of the road: A 500-
metre stretch & A 100-metre stretch. These sections are undergoing necessary repairs to
enhance the road's overall condition and longevity.
Ongoing Updates: We will continue to provide updates as we receive more information on
the progress of these projects. Greenwood Paving has been delayed by weather and other
projects. Please stay tuned for further details.
Important Reminder‼ As construction is underway, we kindly ask all drivers to proceed with
caution. Drive slowly through the construction zones to ensure your safety and the safety of
our Roads crew. Your patience and cooperation during this time are greatly appreciated.
