It’s your turn to try your hand at refurbishment. Identify two
pieces of merchandise that, through quality refurbishment
practices, you will be able to move up one or more levels in
product appearance (poor to fair, fair to good, poor to good, PRODUCT KNOWLEDGE / REFURBISHMENT CART
good to like new, etc.). This week, you must “refurb” one
appliance and one boxed good, and re-price the items with
the new condition using the POS system and print new price
tags.

Go over each item in the refurbishment cart armory, and
let your store manager or owner help you choose the right
products for your particular items. With their help, do your
best to refurbish these two items to their best possible
condition.
