What you just learned is the physical structure of our company. Now we will
look at the most important part of Rent-A-Center—people!
Our entry-level position is a Customer Account Representative (CAR)—our frontline, the face of
our company! A CAR has the opportunity to interact with our customers both in the store and in
the customers’ homes.
The next position is the assistant, who has specific responsibilities to manage routes in the store.
Then, the Lead Assistant begins management duties of running the store, and lastly is the store
manager, who is ultimately responsible for the store’s operational results.
NOTE: Locally owned and operated Rent-A-Center franchises may operate with a
different structure. See your franchise owner for specifics.
