The Sandung  House is  a building  like a small  house with  long pillars, a place to  put  the
               ancestral bones after the Tiwah Ceremony. This is usually related to the Kaharingan belief held by
               the Ngaju Dayak tribe in Central Kalimantan

               Family system
                       The family system adopted by the Dayak tribe is bilateral, that is, drawing lineage through
               the father and mother. Thus the inheritance system does not distinguish between boys and girls.

               Traditional Food
















                       This dish comes from the Maanyan Dayak tribe who call it Kalumpe while in Ngaju Dayak
               it is called premises Karuang. It can be said that this dish is a vegetable made from cassava leaves.
               How to cook it by pounding cassava leaves until smooth, then mixed with eggplant whose size has
               been reduced. As a companion, Kalumpe is often served with salted fish and chili paste.
