5. Prasasti Ulubelu
The Ulubelu stele can be said to be a relic of the Sunda Kingdom. This inscription is
estimated to have existed since the 15th century AD. In 1936, this inscription was found in Ulubelu
in the village of Rebangpunggung, Kotaagung, Lampung.
Although the location of his discovery is in Lampung, but the inscription is considered a
relic of the Sunda Kingdom. This is because the territory of the Sunda Kingdom is spread to the
Lampung area.
Historians also believe the script used on these inscriptions is an ancient Sundanese letter.
With the statements expressed by historians, it further strengthens the truth that the Ulubelu
inscription is a relic of the Kingdom of West Java.
The Ulubelu inscription contains a mantra of asking for help to the main gods, namely Batara
Guru (Shiva), Brahma, and Vishnu. Not only to the main gods, but the gods of the lords of water,
the lords of the land, and the lords of trees in order to keep the salvation of all enemies
