The Karangkamulyan site has an area of approximately 25 ha and stores various types of
               objects. Every object stored on this site is related to the history of the Galuh Kingdom. Most of the
               stored objects are in the form of stones.

                       Although the locations of these stones are close together, they are scattered with different
               shapes. All the stones in karangkamulyan site are inside a building. The building has a structure
               made of piles of stones with a shape that is not much different. In addition, with a door installed
               on the structure of this building, at first glance this building resembles a room.

                       Each stone stored in the Karangkamulyan Site has distinctive names and inside the stones
               are  stored  interesting  stories.  The  names  found  on  each  stone  come  from  the  surrounding
               community who like to be associated with stories or myths about the Galuh Kingdom.

               Kinship System

                       The family system in the Sundanese tribe is bilateral, the lineage is drawn from the father
               and  mother's  side. In  the  Sundanese  family,  it  is  the  father  who  acts  as  the  head  of  the
               family. Strong familial ties and the role of Islam which greatly influenced the customs of the
               Sundanese life. In the Sundanese tribe, pancakaki  is  known as a term  to indicate kinship. For
               example, first, brothers who are directly related, downwards, and vertically. Namely child, incu
               (grandson), piut (great-grandmother), bao, canggahwareng or janggawareng, udeg-udeg, kaitsiwur
               or hangsiwur. Second, indirectly and horizontally related relatives such as the son of an uncle,
               aunt, or uwak, the son of a grandfather or grandmother's brother, the son of a piut brother. Third,
               indirect and direct and vertically related relatives such as the niece of the brother's child, the
               nephew of the younger brother's child, and so on. In Sundanese, it is also known as the vocabulary
               of sajarah and sarsilah (salsilah or genealogy) whose meaning is more or less the same as the
               historical and genealogical vocabulary in Indonesian.

               Specialties

                       Some types of traditional Indonesian snack foods originating from the land of Sundanese,
               such as asem vegetables, lodeh vegetables, pepes, tutug oncom, lalaban, etc.
