COMMAND your leadership presence with Determination
All great leaders have one thing in common: determination. It is their passion and willingness to pursue what they
believe in at all costs. They possess a growth mindset in that they are optimistic, persistent and hang in there when
times are difficult. Great leaders stay clear and do not lose sight of their true purpose. They focus enthusiastically
on the next steps of a well laid out plan with intense determination. They never quit. They persevere.
Key reminders to stay determined
1. Stay connected to your leadership team as this keeps everyone’s motivation high.
2. Keep learning and be open to change.
3. Take inventory of what hasn’t worked and positively make the changes needed to improve.
4. Remember to stay optimistic about yourself and others.
5. Set short incremental goals as well as long term bigger picture goals.
Having determination doesn’t come from what you can’t do.
It comes from overcoming the things you once thought you couldn’t do.
