COMMAND your leadership presence with Mission

            Create your personal mission statement
                ● Declare what you want your purpose to be.
                ● Identify your true values so you can align them with your daily actions.

The basics of creating a mission statement
                ● Close your eyes and imagine yourself at a healthy 90 years old. What have you achieved both personally
and professionally? What are your professional accomplishments? What relationships are you proud of?
Which relationships are you happy with and are solid and authentic?
                ● Next, write 3-5 sentences that describing how you would be behaving to become the best version of
                    yourself.
                ● Be passionate and purposeful about how you want these attributes to affect people.
                ● Try not to complicate your statement with too many details.
                ● Seek balance in your statement so that you include all important areas of your life.

Prompts to help focus your thoughts:
                ● Try to write down a few ideas of who you are without judging what you are saying.
                ● Think about things that matter to you most.
                ● Think about your fundamental values in a positive way.

            Examples of personal mission statements:
                ● I will think first, and then respond.
                ● I will be open to success
                ● I will assume the best in people.
                ● I will forgive others and myself for not doing things perfectly.
                ● I will be a loving and affectionate spouse.
                ● I will raise my kids to be happy, healthy and well adjusted.
                ● I will be optimistic and commit to surrounding myself with people who have my back.
                ● I will rekindle relationships with a fresh and positive energy.
                ● I will teach others and strive to inspire them to perform at their best.
