TECHNICAL DATA vb38 OIL EXTRA

INTRODUCTION

The vb38 “Oil Extra” is a mix of concentrated oil additives developed
for restoring best efficiency to the lubricating system. Furthermore it is
very helpful in cases of wrong tolerances of new systems.
Its EP additives make the oil more stable and thus will reduce the oil
burning at higher temperatures.The oil will be more viscous and will
pass less along piston rings and valve guides into the combustion
chambers. The tightness of the piston rings will than give benefit to
the engine power, the performance and the fuel efficiency.
The (EP) additives means vb38 contains Extreme Pressure Agents
helping in reducing friction between the moving mechanical parts of the
engine, the gearbox, the differential and the power steering.
The lubricating of the system will achieve less loss in power resulting in
more power availability, improved performance and so better fuel
consumption. The system will furthermore be more silent and operate
at lower temperatures, extending the oil-life during its interival thus
bettering the system itself.
One other part of the vb38 oil-extra additive will reduce oil leaking by
restoring elasticity to the oil seals helping make them swell in a
controlled andlimitedmanner inorder tocompensatefortolerances
deriving from wear.
In cases where there is a very contaminated system it is highly
recommended to flush clean the system before adding vb38.
Cleaning should be done using the Smog Doctor cleaner vb35.
By eliminating deposits of sludge, acids and humidity the vb38 can
better cling to form a protective layer on the clean surfaces.
The result is the system’s life-time will be extended even more and
will give you an even better performance.

A ENGINE OIL SYSTEM

If possible, first clean the engine’s lubricating system, add the new
oil and at then last the vb38. Drive the vehicle as usually.
Add: 1 x 300ml. vb38 bottle to 3 - 6 litres of good quality oil

B GEARBOX & DIFFERENTIAL

If possible, first clean the lubricating system and then add the
vb38 to good quality oil. Drive the vehicle as usually.
Add: 1 x 100ml. vb38 to 1 - 2 litres of good quality oil
C TRANSMISSION

If possible, first clean the lubricating system and then add the
vb38 to good quality oil. Drive the vehicle as usually.
Add: 1 x 300ml. vb38 bottle to 6 - 12 litres of good quality oil

D POWER STEERING

If possible, first clean the lubricating system and then add the
vb38 to good quality oil. Drive the vehicle as usually.
Add: 1 x 100ml. vb38 to 1 - 2 litres of good quality oil
