In the end, Ma’am Baljit was called to announce the judgment result. The
grade 3-I with the poem “A worm in my pocket” won the competition

followed by 3-J with “Eric the weary bee” in second place and there were 2
sections who got 3rd position, the 3-B and 3-G.

This kind of experience for the children is highly commendable because
we are giving them an opportunity to read aloud a variety of poetry at poetry
recitals, including ones written by published poets as well as their own
original poems and our students absolutely enjoy the learning experience. Our

school must continue this kind of activity to develop students’ memory, team
work, creativity and sportsmanship.
