Abstrak: This study aims to describe the relationship between the phenomena
of the education process in Indonesia, especially when there is an educational
interaction between parents, students, and teachers. By using phenomenological
research methods and surveys, the author tries to describe the symptoms of a life
that manifest themselves at the time of observation. The phenomenological
research method was conducted in a realistic situation, so the authors were free
to analyze the data obtained, while the survey method was carried out on
adolescents in Serang City, Banten Province, Indonesia. The study results
indicate that parents' role as first teachers is challenging for a child to forget
because he has educated himself from zero to attending school. The role of the
teacher as a second parent is to form students' self-image with greater attention
and substantial rewards and punishments. The character of children who receive
direct instruction from teachers who are also their parents will more easily reach
the maturity stage in facing the realities of life. The spiritual and psychological
experiences gained by students who join the teacher's family will lead to a more
mature personality. A child needs to determine the main role model in his life: a
teacher at school or a parent at home.
