AIRSTREAM™ SERIES DRYER
Introduction
Congratulations on your purchase of the Belanger, Inc. Airstream™ Series Dryer. Recently, we at Belanger,
Inc., have redesigned our complete dryer component line. We now offer a completely modular dryer system
that allows the customer to mix and match a variety of nozzle styles, impeller styles and in some cases colors.
Nozzles can now also have varied output horsepower.
This document will cover our standard Airstream™ Dryer, the high end Pro Airstream™ (touch-free) Dryer
and the various optional nozzles and impellers that are available and can be mounted on the Airstream™ Series
frame.
There have been some significant changes made to the current systems:
• Two available frames: Airstream™ Dryer frame and Expansion frame
• All housings are now mounted on adjustable clamps
• The nozzles also have a much larger pivot range
• Side nozzles no longer have hoses
• The customer can now design his/her own dryer configuration
The purpose of this manual is to familiarize you with the way that the Airstream™ Series Dryer is installed,
configured to the needs of your location, how it operates, and how to maintain it after installation.
Keep in mind that there will be portions of this manual that may not apply to your particular unit, however all
of the information necessary for your unit is included.
If you have purchased a standard Airstream™ Series Dryer, your unit can be retrofitted on site at a later date
with the Pro Airstream™ (touch-free) profiling mechanism. Call for more information.
The installation portion of this manual is broken into the following sections:
• Airstream™ / Pro Airstream™ frame with top nozzle
• High Side nozzles
• Low Side nozzles
• FlowCell™ nozzles
The “Installation” section will be used in conjunction with the specification sheet, the location diagram, and
the Airstream™ Series Dryer drawings. All of these combined are your guide to installation.
Whether you have already operated a car wash or you are new to our industry, you know the importance of the
appearance of a car wash and its equipment to the customer. Keeping the equipment clean will not only make
the equipment easier to maintain, it will act as an example to your customer to keep their equipment (their
automobile) clean as well. Replacing the cloth as necessary, will also help the image of your wash and keep the
customer coming back.
Read through the entire manual to familiarize yourself with the Airstream™ Series Dryer before installation.
When installation is completed, you will want to keep this manual as a guide to proper maintenance.
