PIVOTING WHEEL STINGER Signature Series
Installation
Frame Assembly and Placement
The Pivoting Wheel Washer’s supporting structure consists of three main features. These being
theOverhead Assembly, Upright Utility Leg and the Upright Secondary Leg.
1) Determine the location in which the Pivoting Wheel Washer will be set. Be
sure there is no equipment in the working envelope that will interfere with its
operation. Now determine from which side the utilities will be fed (driver side or
passenger side). Locate the Pivoting Wheel Washer Overhead Assembly and
lay it out so that it is oriented properly with respect to its utility feeds being on
the equipment room side.
2) Using a fork-lift, raise the Overhead Assembly to a height above the length of
the legs.
Note: Be sure to clamp it to the forks before lifting.
3) Locate and identify the 2 leg assemblies. The one with the oil canister mounts
are for the utility side leg. See image at right for identification.
4) Attach the side plates with four supplied 1/2-13 x 2” ARMOR COAT fasteners
that run threw the side plates, top mount into the tapped helicoils embedded in
the top of the main upright leg as shown below.

5) Secure the other leg into place.
