Installation

Cloth

In order to install the cloth, some disassembly is necessary. Pay attention to how the machine is taken apart.
1) Loosen the upper locking collar with a 3/16” hex wrench and slide it over against the flat washer.
2) Remove the retaining pin from the drive arm at the Pitman arm end and the thin blue bushing.
3) Separate the drive arm from the Pitman arm so that the rack hangs vertically.
4) Loosen outside collar using a 5/16” hex wrench.
5) Slide outside collar out away from center approximately 4”.
6) Loosen 1-1/8” bolt approximately 3” out.
