Chapter 8 Wall Manifold / Optional Water Heater

Optional Water Heater Installation
The Super Heater is to be secured to the wall above the Pumping Station. Be sure it is on the
right side of the Wall Manifold and below the Wall Manifold height.

CAUTION

MUST BE MOUNTED BELOW HEIGHT OF THE WALL MANIFOLD!!!

CAUTION

DO NOT INSTALL THE WATER HEATER IN A LOCATION WHERE THE INTERNAL ENCLOSURE
TEMPERATURE CAN EXCEED 155ºF. IT SHOULD BE IN AN ENVIRONMENT WHERE THE
AMBIENT TEMPERATURE IS BETWEEN 33º AND 135º.

Optional Water Heater Connections
The following explains how to mount the Super Heater and all feeds to and from the Wall
Manifold. Some items may differ from your site. See your site specific prints for details.
The Super Heater MUST be mounted as close to the Wall Manifold as possible. Like the Wall
Manifold, it MUST be in an area protected from freezing.
The Super Heater MUST be mounted horizontally. Any other orientation will greatly reduce its
performance.

1) Secure the Uni-Strut mounts to the wall or in the attic where the Super Heater will be located.
2) Hang the Super Heater on the struts and clamp into place making sure the inlet hose barb is pointed down toward the
floor.
