Chapter 8 Wall Manifold / Optional Water Heater

Wall Manifold Positioning
There are two mounting methods. One is using the optional Thru-Wall Plate, which can be
purchased through your distributor. The other method is using field supplied Unistrut bars to
mount the lines. Both methods are covered in this section.
The Wall Manifolds location and orientation must be determined on site. It can be placed in the
bay or in the equipment room near the Boom. Consult your local distributor for the configuration
that best accommodates your location. The following two examples show two recommended
styles of installation. Either example can be “In-Bay” if bay is heated or “Equipment Room”
installations.
Note: The exact location and of the Wall Manifold will vary from site to site. See site-specific
drawings for proper configuration.
Note: The Wall Manifold MUST be installed as close as possible to the Boom and Super Heater.

secured to the ceiling.
