Chapter 1: Introduction

DryLite® Dryer Motor / Nozzle Mounts
There are four (4) types of mounts for the DryLite® Dryers: Head Beam Mount, Leg Mount, Top
Flip Mount and Side Flip Mount. All of the mount styles can be configured and mounted in a
number of ways. It is very important that they are mounted as shown in diagrams in the following
chapters.

The DryLite® Dryer Assembly configurations that have 3-Nozzle Assemblies on the Head Beam
can have the center nozzle either facing the entrance or exit side of the tunnel. This document will
show all mount positions and give recommended locations for each mount in a dryer
configuration.
Locate and identify all of the mounts supplied with your DryLite® dryer system. Secure them to
the appropriate locations on the frame as shown in the Chapter diagrams. Adjustments for the
nozzles will follow after the mounts are secured to the frame.
When assembling the DryLite® Dryer pay close attention to the required operating envelope that
is the space needed to operate properly shown in the drawings.
It would be very beneficial to have a leveler of some sort on hand. In order to
achieve optimum performance, the DryLite® nozzles should be mounted in
specific positions. Levelers can be purchased at any good hardware store
(Home Depot).
Refer to the supplied drawings for positioning nozzles to the proper angles.
Nozzle location and positioning was determined at the factory to fit a wide
brand of vehicles. Your installation preference may vary based on vehicle Typical Leveler
and building restraints.
