QUICKFIRE® Signature ® Series
Operational Performance and Controls
Adjustment Affects / Options
When the “Head Retract” motion is complete, the QuickFire® Wrap will come to the tail corner of the car where
the “Swing Extend” and the “Head Extend” portion of operation will initiate.
Swing Extend
1) The inside swing flow control is active in dictating how
fast the arm is allowed to swing in behind the vehicle.
• Clockwise will restrict the hydraulic flow from the cylinder
and slow the rate at which the QFW may swing “IN”.
• Counter Clockwise will open the hydraulic flow from the
cylinder and allow a swifter rate of swing ”IN”.
2) RGLTR175 is for the swing extend motion acts as an
additional force aiding the rate of swing.
• Increasing pressure will increase the rate at which swing
is seen.
• Decreasing pressure will decrease the rate at which swing
is seen.
Head Extend
3) RGLTR650 is solely controls the rate of motion and
has no flow control in series with a rate dampening affect.
• Increasing pressure will result in a swifter speed for the “Head Extend” motion.
• Decreasing pressure will slow the rate of the motion.
Note: As with 1RGLTR175 during the side, washing portion of operation the pressure of
1RGLTR650 will affect the penetration seen during the rear washing portion of operation.
During operation, the transition between portions of operation (i.e. front to side, side to rear) will indicate by what is
observed the adjustments needed for optimal QuickFire® Wrap operation.
Front to Side Transition
Commonly observed the “Swing Retract” motion overshoots its point
of completion. This causes a delay in side wash contact.
Adjust outside swing flow control by restricting the flow (turn
clockwise) the rate of the “swing Retract” will be slowed. This
decreases the time needed for 1RGLTR175 to compensate and take
control with side penetration pressure.
