QUICKFIRE® Signature ® Series

             Operational Performance and Controls

             Adjustment Affects / Options
Affecting controls will be addressed in the order of their use during an operation cycle.

At initial contact, the QuickFire® Wrap begins is “Swing Retract” motion away from its
                    mid-track starting position.
                    5) Outside Swing Flow-Control is active in dictating how fast the arm is allowed to
swing to the side of the vehicle.
                       • Clockwise - will close/ restrict the hydraulic flow from the cylinder and slow the rate at
which the QFW may swing out.
                       • Counter Clockwise - will open the hydraulic flow from the cylinder and allow and
                         swifter rate of swing out.
                    6) 1RGLTR175 is active in supplying a constant force into the vehicle. For the
“Swing Retract” motion, it acts as an opposing force to the swing.
                       • Increasing Pressure will supply greater force against the swing of the QFW, slowing
                         down this motion.
                       • Decreasing Pressure will allow a swifter speed to be achieved in the swing of the
                         QFW.

When the “Swing Retract” motion is complete, the “Head Retract” motion begins. This movement is seen during
                    the side-washing portion of operation.
                    1) 1RGLTR175 is the active control of penetration seen between the media and the
                       vehicle.
                       • Increasing Pressure will result in greater penetration force.
                       • Decreasing Pressure will result in less penetration force.
                    2) 1RGLTR650 is used in series with a needle valve flow control affects the rate of
the “Head Retract” motion. If no flow-control adjustment:
                       • Increasing Pressure will push the head along its retract motion at a swifter rate.
                       • Decreasing Pressure will have the opposite affect resulting in a slower “Head Retract”
                         motion.
                    3) Needle Valve Flow Control is used in series with the 1RGLTR650 to supply
resistance on the exhausting side of the cylinder during “Head Retract.”. If no
                       Pressure adjustment::
                       • Clockwise decreases the allowed exhaust rate and slows the “Head Retract” motion.
                       • Counter clockwise increases the allowed exhaust rate allowing higher speeds in the motion.
