Operation

Single Foam Pod with AFIS and Foamer Panel

Overview
When a Single Foam Pod is being used, a Belanger AFIS
system and a Belanger Soap Foamer Air-Panel (Part
Number 102029) are recommended. See diagram below
for details.

Note: Wiring schematics for the dual panel to the DCC is
stated on the “Utility Connection” pages.

Triple Foam Pod with the Dual Panels AFIS

Overview
As shown on the utility connections page (earlier in this section), there are 2 ASCO water valves
and 2 Solenoid valves. They allow the ability to fire a single foam package, a double foam
package, or a triple foam package. Three packages bundled into one setup of equipment.

Note: Wiring schematics for the dual panel to the DCC is stated on the “Utility Connection”
pages.

Selectable Packages
Single Foam - this will fire chemical pump #1, ASCO valve #1, and solenoid valve #1. Regulator
#1 is controlled by solenoid valve #1.
Double Foam - this will fire chemical pumps #2 & #3, ASCO valve #2, and solenoid valve #2.
Regulators #2 & #3 are controlled by solenoid valve #2.
Triple Foam - this will fire all three chemical pumps, both water ASCO valves, and both solenoid
valves. All three regulators will also be used.

Note: The options stated above are recommended but can be used at the customer’s preference.
Keep in mind the broad flexibility that this system allows for when using these different
package setups.
