FOAMING PODS
Maintenance
Routine Procedures
Triple and Single Pods
• Check spray nozzles
• Run a test wash to begin each business day
• Inspect all air-lines making sure they are not making contact with sharp objects or in the path of vehicles
Trouble Shooting
Problem Cause Solution
No chemical • Clogged foot valve on suction line • Clean or replace foot valve
• Empty storage tank • Fill storage tank
• Chemical pump has lost prime • Prime chemical pump
• Solenoid valve not energized • Check for proper operating voltage
Pulsating or weak • Dirt in solenoid valve • Disassemble and clean solenoid valve
spray
• Kink in hose • Remove any kinks from hose
• Inadequate water pressure • Open water valve to fullest
• Blocked screen • Call Distributor for advice on installing booster pump
• Spray holes clogged • Remove from Pod and blow the screen to remove any
film
• Loose or bad fittings
• Disable the Pod and clean with thin wire and blow
• In-Line Check Valve for through each port
water/chemical facing wrong
direction • Check all fittings on the complete system to assure
that they are tight and do not leak
• Make sure the arrow on the Check Valve is facing
towards the black Feed-Block of the Pod
