Optional On-Board Dryer
Pivoting the On-Board Dryer Frame Down
8) Position a person at each of the following locations. One at the FreeStyler® HMI (E-1063 Human Machine
Interface) and one at the Top Wheel.
The person at the HMI (E-1063 Human Machine
Interface) will jog the FreeStyler® forwards and backwards. Refer to the Programming section of this manual, for
proper procedure to jog the carriage.
The person at the top wheel will verify clearance of the dryer and wires as the frame weldment is pivoting.
9) In order for the frame to pivot downwards, the person at the HMI (E-1063 Human Machine
Interface) will need to jog the FreeStyler® towards the entrance of the car wash bay (carriage backward), slowly.
Stop jogging as soon as the dryer is at its lowest point.
10) Make sure that the frame is pivoted completely before you perform any maintenance.
Note: To keep the carriage at a positive stop, raise the carriage up by using the jack bolts that are on
the safety brackets. See the image below.

11) Turn off the FreeStyler® power and lock it out while servicing.
