Chapter 3 General Repairs
Optional On-Board Dryer
Routine Maintenance Procedures
Daily
Start every day with a “Test Wash” to insure proper operation of all equipment
Listen for an abnormal noises, shaking, or vibrations
Make sure the impellers are not blocked with any obstructions or broken in any way
Monthly
Wash component with a good degrimer such as Tide laundry detergent and hot water
Trouble shooting
Problem Solution
Inspect the impellers for any debris in or on the fins.
Excessive Shaking
Inspect the impellers for any nicks and/or cracks
Inspect the impellers for any dirt build-up.
Check for loose or missing mounting bolts.
Check inlet cone for any rubbing on the impeller.
Check all electrical connections for loose and/or arced wires.
Motor Starter Tripping
Verify amp load is not higher than recommended settings and the impeller
is properly balanced.
Confirm that the Ohm’s output on the motor and the lead is correct.
Inspection and Repair Procedures
The following steps and pictures will help guide you through the proper procedure to rotate the On-Board Dryer
frame down to allow yourself to either perform certain inspections or to replace any component.
Note: This is a 2 person job and all steps should be performed with
extreme caution!
