            Chapter 3 General Repairs

            Optional On-Board Dryer

Pivoting the On-Board Dryer Frame Up
                   1) Make sure that all the desired work that was performed is complete and everything is assembled back together properly.
 Turn the dryer motor starter panel back on to verify that everything is running smoothly before you pivot the frame
                          back upwards.
                   2) Lower the carriage frame back down by loosening the jack bolts. Be sure to tighten the fasteners back to the safety
                       bracket.

                                                                                 Safety Bracket (4)
                                                                                 Jack Bolt (4)

                                                                                 Jam Nut (4)
                                 Rail (2)

                   3) In order for the frame to pivot upwards, the person at the HMI (E-1063 Human Machine
Interface) will need to jog the FreeStyler® towards the exit of the car wash bay (carriage forward), slowly.

                   4) Jog until the dryer frame is 4-8” from the carriage frame.
                   5) Insert the supplied 1/2” alignment bar in to one of the two upper holes on the carriage c-channel.

                   6) Continue to jog the FreeStyler® towards the exit of the car wash bay again making sure that the alignment bar inserts
itself in to the correct hole on the On-board Dryer frame weldment.

Note: The frame should now be all the way up against the carriage c-channel.
                   7) Insert the 1/2-13 fastener in the non-alignment bar hole and tighten down the fastener completely.

                   8) Remove the 1/2” alignment bar, insert the second 1/2-13 fastener, and tighten down.
                   9) Now insert the fasteners that you removed from the sides and tighten all four of those down completely.
                   10) Jog the carriage toward the entrance to loosen the strap.

                   11) Remove the strap from the frame and the head beam.

Note: Do not discard the strap or the bar as you may need it again in the future.
                   12) Send the carriage back to its home position and perform a test wash to verify that everything is working properly.
