Removing the Existing Stem Assembly
8) Slide the Stem Assembly out from the Valve Body.

Disassemble the Stem Assembly Components
1) Loosen and remove the Stem as shown by the dotted-arrows. Doing so will free the Cup Seal
and Top Follower. Discard the old Cup Seal but keep the Top Follower.

2) Loosen then remove the Bottom Follower and black Standard Disc. Discard the old Standard
Disc.
