Schluter -DILEX-BTS
Schluter -DILEX-BTS is an expansion joint
®
profile made of anodized aluminum that bridges
expansion joints and accommodates movement
via the 1-3/16" (30 mm)-wide telescopic
center section, which also forms the visible 102 mm - 4"
surface. The profile is installed in completed tile 5 mm - 3/16"
coverings. DILEX-BTS protects tile edges and is
suitable for tile surfaces exposed to foot traffic as

well as vehicular traffic and is, therefore, suited
for use in warehouses, production facilities, 36 mm - 1-7/16" 30 mm - 1-3/16"
shopping centers, airports, train stations, and
parking garages, or for coverings cleaned with Schluter -DILEX-BTS
®
machines.

Schluter -DILEX-AS
®
Schluter -DILEX-AS is a perimeter joint profile
with a rigid PVC anchoring leg and a flexible
joining leg with self-adhesive tape to bond the 9 mm -
profile to fixed building elements (e.g., bathtubs, 29 mm - 1-1/8" 11/32"
shower trays, door and window frames).
DILEX-AS isolates the tile covering from the fixed
building element and accommodates movement
via the flexible joining leg, which also forms the 20 mm - 3/4"
visible surface. Suitable for tiles 3/16" to 3/8"
(4 – 10 mm) thick.
