ENHANCED DETAILING – WALLS






          Wall type parameter

          The settings for the type that can be found in Type Properties are properties that are
          applicable to all objects of the same type. Changes made here are reflected in the whole
          project.
          For example, if the wall thickness through the wall's structure is changed, this will transpire
          throughout the whole project.
          In the dialog box Type properties can be selected to duplicate this type with the button
          "Duplicate". Than, name end modify the new Wall type.
          Structure:
          Opens a new dialog box in which the
          actual wall structure is carried out. This
          parameter controls the wall thickness.
          Wrapping:
          Wrapping, when Windows or doors are
          installed, or if it is free standing, when
          Windows or doors are installed, or if it is
          free standing.

          Function:
          Categorizes the wall.
          Used in schemas and to create filters that
          will simplify the model's appearance. Wall
          Function is also used when you set up a
          gbXML export.







          The various wall functions that can be selected through Type Selector Function:


          Parameter Value                Description
          Interior                       Interior walls.

          Exterior                       Exterior walls that are part of the building's geometry. These
                                         walls must act as climate screen on the outside.

          Foundation                     The foundation walls with soil on both sides.
          Retaining                      Walls that support against soil on one side. These walls can be
                                         foundation walls, but it is not necessary.
          Soffit                         Walls that are attached to a ceiling.
          Core-Shaft                     Interior shaft walls
