Changes from other disciplines

Often Revit is used across all subjects, this makes it possible to combine and coordinate the
various users designs in a shared environment. In this project we coordinate models from MEP
consultant and Engineering company, for any changes.

Task – Changes from other disciplines

Purpose: to understand how other Revit models are linked into the project

1. A MEP model should be linked into the project.
Use own model or open ”Arkitekt Fagmodel.rvt” of course drive.
Then link a MEP model via
Insert ► Link Revit

Select the file ”MEP Model” in Kursusfiler

Before clicking Open It is important, that Positioning be set to
”Auto – Origin to Origin”, so the model will be positioned with
correct position.

2. Navigate to a 3D View, activate Section Box in Properties and
check the model

It can be seen, among other things, if the ceilings in the Office
areas conflicts with ventilation system.

3. Move the ceilings from 2800 mm to 2700 mm above the floor in
the Office areas by selecting them and change in Properties
