Enhanced detailing – Curtain Wall




                  4.    In the north façade of the grid line X should Curtain Wall be edited so that it has a sloped
                        window to the East.
                        However, it is necessary to create a working view that shows elevation perpendicular to
                        the wall and not in foreshortened as Elevation: Nord


                  5.    Navigate to 1. Floor plan and create a new elevation
                        view with Elevation tool


                        View ► Create ► Elevation ► Elevation

                        Choose Elevation – Exterior i Properties

                  6.    Position the mouse near grid line X and elevation view
                        icon automatically adapts perpendicular to the grid line.


                        Left click to create elevation, which can then be selected
                        in Project Browser


                  7.    Select the actual Curtain Wall in grid line X and click
                        Edit Profile in Context Tab.

                        Use the resulting elevation view to customize Curtain
                        Wall and rotate the left line of the sketch 20 degrees.

                        When the sketch has been edited, Revit may make an
                        error message, ”Constraints are not satisfied”, just
                        click on”Remove Constraints” and the sketch is
                        completed.
