FIXTURES – COMPONENTS

Fixtures – Components

Just like Windows and doors, fixtures can be downloaded into your project like the other
components e.g. furniture.

Insert ► Load from Library ► Load Family

Insertion of component takes place through:

Architecture ► Build ► Component ► Place a Component
Find the desired component from "Type Selector", and place it.

The component can be rotated by pressing the SPACEBAR.

This can also be done from the Project Browser under the category
of "Furniture", where each family can be dragged into the View.

Groups

Groups are groupings of objects used for efficiency when patch in a group has influence
through all other groups of the same type.

Groups are stored in the project file, but can also be saved out to a separate project file
containing only the objects that are in the Group.

Create a group:

Select the desired objects and select Create Group from the Ribbon

Model Groups This is a grouping of model
elements, for example, furniture.

Detail Groups Here, for example, you can add
details, for example, text.
