SHARED COORDINATES

Task – location of Building

Purpose: to understand how coordinates are transferred and the building will be placed

1. Open file ”Terræn.rvt” from folder Kursusfiler and navigate
to ”Situationsplan” in Project Browser

2. Course project must be linked in the terrain model via

Insert ► Link Revit

Select course project and under Positioning: select ”Auto -
Center to Center”

3. Next, place the building correctly in level by applying Align on
respectively, grid lines and walls of the building

4. Switch to Elevation Nord in Project Browser and Align
Level ”OK Fundament” in the terrain model with Level ”(01)
Stue” from course project

5. Verify the result in 3D View
