VIEW MANAGEMENT



          Held down the SHIFT-key on your keyboard a
          "–" accures at the cursor – in this way you can
          deselect objects/lines to the selection.



          Cancel
          Cancel task Right click ► Cancel.

          Press ESC on the keyboard to interrupt a command.
          In order to escape a command can Modify be pressed on the Ribbon, or press ESC on the
          keyboard twice.

          Tab

          Tab on the keyboard <TAB> can be used to switch between the options available in the current
          operation, e.g. by selections. View the object name in the "Status Bar" at the bottom of Revit.
          Hover over an object, and press <TAB> to pick out a chain of objects such as walls.


          Filter
          When many objects are selected, it is
          possible to filter in order to achieve a better
          result in the selection.
          On Selection Bar Filter:

          ... or Filter in Contextual Ribbon Tab that
          appears after selection of objects.

          The categories appear and the number of
          items that are marked. Here you can remove
          checkmark on them, which is not wanted in
          the selection.

          Check none and select the categories you
          want. It is usually easier than to remove all
          the other.
