G. Entering Project Data and Project Professionals
The Proposal Save creates the primary project information and defaults Department, Description and Principal Investigator to the
primary project. You will need to enter F&A distribution percentages across departments that add up to 100% and attach any existing
documentation to the project. Additional professional resources may be added to the proposal and assigned specific roles.
Workflow routings will be impacted if you add a professional resource and assign one of the following roles: PI, CO-PI, Co-
Inv, Multi-PI, Named Investigator, Key Personnel and/or Mentor/Sponsor.
H. Creating Ad-hoc Reviewers and Approvers
Ad-Hoc Reviewers and Approvers maybe added to the proposal. The Proposal Workflow will route to the Ad-hoc Approvers
appropriately when you click the Save & Route button.
Ad-Hoc Approvers and Reviewers will not be added normally but in certain situations, you may need certain approvals and
this functionality will be used.

1. Click the Preview Workflow button.
The Proposal Status page displays. Proposal workflow is impacted by the Yes/NO answers to various questions and the roles
assigned to Professional Resources attached to the Proposal Project. In addition, Ad-Hoc Reviewers and Approvers can be
added to the workflow.
