● They really feel the cold and love to live
under blankets and duvets, so any blanket
rucked up at all can possibly have a
Pinscher under it!!! They also love to fall
asleep on top of you whenever you relax in
               a chair.
               ● Are complete clowns and can grin from ear
to ear showing their rather large white teeth
               off to people they like.

               ● They like to use the back of sofas and your
house as a race track and can turn on a
               sixpence.
               ● Are amazing dogs for running and hiking
because they are like Duracell batteries and
just keep going. I normally do between one
and two and a half hours walk each day
Java & Roo (mother and daughter). Peas in
depending on what other activities we have
later in the day. The downside to this is a a pod and in their favourite place, centre of
bored Pinscher is a naughty Pinscher and attention on a table!!!! Photo by Jo Ellis
will find ways of amusing themselves.

German Pinschers are happy to have a go at
most things and mine compete in the Show
Ring, go Swimming and do Obedience, Bikejor
           and some Agility.

Luckily we love naughty dogs that make us
laugh and make us cry but they are definitely
not for everyone. Maybe that is why after being
in the UK for 40 years they are still a rare breed
and probably will still be for the next 40. Huxley at swimming. Photo by Jo Ellis
