Learning Support
Learning Support is available to students who have particular learning needs. A
particular focus is on senior students gaining NCEA qualifications especially in Literacy
and Numeracy. This support might include study skills, reader-writers or an individually
tailored student programme. If you think your daughter may benefit from this type of
learning support please consult the co-ordinator of Learning Support Mrs Carly Avery,
prior to selecting subjects for 2019.
ESOL Support
English for Speakers of Other Languages
ESOL Support is available to students whose second language is English. A particular
focus is supporting the students in the classroom and with homework to allow them to
achieve to the best of their ability especially with the demands of NCEA Literacy and
Numeracy. If you think you or your daughter may benefit from ESOL support, please
consult the co-ordinator of Learning Support Mrs Preeta Menon prior to selecting
subjects for 2019.
