Aims: To expand on students’ media literacy which is essential for communication in an
increasingly complex and technological world.
Competencies: Critical thinking; Expression skills; Design, production and editing skills;
Analysing of media products.
Pathways this course contributes towards: University courses where L3 Media Studies is a
requirement e.g. Television/ Film/ Video producer. This course contains the required entry
to Media/ Design School
