Along with her administrative experience, Dr. Pizzetta
brings an understanding of the processes involved in re-

Investigator on a National Science Foundation grant, Ad-
vancing the Research Profile of Small, Minority-Serving
Institutions through a Virtual Proposal Development Cen-
ter, which works with small and mid-sized HBCUs to train
faculty grant writers. Her most recent publications include

Administration (Finance) from Alcorn State University, a

ministration degree from Jackson State University. She is
currently in the dissertation stages of a Ph.D. in Education-
al Leadership (Higher Education). She has over 14 years
of professional experience in an administrative capacity,
serving as a program manager, administrative assistant,
