The Basics of MLS

Logging on to the MLS

1. Navigate to the logon page - http://www.prospector.metrolist.net/
2. Enter your agent ID and Password exactly how they were given to you
3. Press Enter or click the Submit button

Getting Familiar with the MLS

Home Page
a. The customizable Home page offers convenient access to a wide range of information and
features
b. Near the upper-right corner is the Customize Home Page link. Drag and drop modules to rear-
range them on the page

Menu Bar

a. The menu bar remains on the top of every page, giving you convenient access to every function
in the MLS

Toolbar

a. The toolbar displays directly below the menu bar. Like the menu bar, it never scrolls off the page
b. The buttons on the toolbar with change dynamically based on what you’re doing in the MLS

Options Pane

a. The Options pane displays in several areas of the software, grouping
useful features such as Save and Sort options on the right side of the
page.
b. Like the toolbar, the options available here change based on the
area of the software you are working in
