To make the asparagus:
             1.  In a large bowl, toss together the asparagus, oil, salt and pepper.
             2.  Grill the asparagus for 8 minutes, turning occasionally, or until it
               is crisp-tender.
             3. Serve the kabobs on the skewers with the asparagus on the side.

             Serves 4. Prep time: 20 minutes. Cooking time: 10 minutes. Total time: 30 minutes.
