5.1 Learning Methods:
                   In support of the policy principles, the L&D function within Bracket will adopt, although
                   not exhaustive, the following learning methods:

                     On the job learning / learning from others in the organization
                     Internal workshops / learning for groups or team
                     Coaching
                     Self-paced learning / learning library / access to learning at the point of need

                     Off-job courses run by Bracket or other providers in line with business needs and
                       budget
                     Secondments and placements when business needs support the value of outcomes
                     Action learning through the establishment of action learning sets.
                     eLearning
                     Mentoring


               6.0 Learning and Development Procedure

               Bracket will introduce a range of learning programs at organizational, departmental and
               individual levels that will establish and maintain a cohesive approach to learning and
               development, and embed our values into every day action and behaviors.

               7.0 Training Needs Identification and Support

               The development of an annual training plan will be initiated by the Associate Director of HR
               responsible for Learning and Development in consultation with department heads, managers
               and information extracted from Bracket’s Performance Management and L&D programs. It
               will include areas of learning and development specified in Bracket’s Strategic plan and
               learning needs identified by individuals, teams and staff groups.
               The training plan will be placed on our HR and Training SharePoint pages.

               8.0 Roles and Responsibilities

               Bracket recognizes that every part of the organization has a role to play in ensuring the
               effectiveness of its approach to L&D.
