        (You’re Only Cheating Yourself)




                                                             Years ago, at two different times, there were two ladies
                                                             in my company that never knew each other, who were
                                                             more obese than I was (and that’s pretty tough to do).
                                                             They both “cheated”.  They both had one drawer in their
                                                             desk full of chocolates HIDDEN at the back of the top
                                                             drawer.  Both organized the position of their desks so
                                                             they could see anyone coming from any direction.  They
                                                             both ate a continuing stream of chocolates throughout
                                                             the day.    AND EVERYONE IN THE OFFICE KNEW IT.
                                                             They both knew they were obese, so did everyone else.

                                                             I felt sorry for these two ladies.  But I didn’t know how
                                                             to help them.  But I do today; help their children FIRST.
                                                             The first pages in this book help understand the cause
                                                             and results of obesity TO THE CHILDREN.  Including the
                                                             extreme harm to their parents.  Not to mention the
                                                             devastating effect on lifestyle, health and finances.
                                                              FIRST, YOU HAVE TO WANT TO LOSE WEIGHT.


                                                             You probably wouldn’t have read this far if you hadn’t
                                                             already made that strong determination.

                                                               OVERCOMING CHEATING IS THE LAST STEP.

                                                             So, cheating will be an ongoing process.  The solution is
                                                             BOTH an alert Support Network AND THIS CHART.

                                                             You should weigh yourself – preferably once-a-week
                                                             AFTER your weight is gone and you are in “NORMAL”.
                                                             Somewhere between your NORMAL and LOW-Normal
                                                             should be your target.  (Gail’s target is her LOW-Normal,
                                                             118 at 5’6”, mine is my normal, 136 - 157 at 5’11.)

                                                               Exceed your NORMAL And   YOU CHEATED

                                                                Whatever you’ve been doing – STOP IT QUICKLY.

                                                             Should you reach your HIGH-Normal, just remember St.
                                                             Peter is watching you.  OBESITY IS NEXT.   STOP NOW.

                                                             Psychologically, talking about your past obesity with as
                                                             many people as possible also helps you stop cheating.
