Web Docs (5 to 8 minutes in length) E-Learning Content Classroom
The full documentary will be edited into a series of shorter segments more amenable for online, as well as
classroom viewing and discussion. An online education portal, with these edited clips, lesson plans, and a
guide to using the digital interactives will be created for teachers. The documentary has particularly strong ties
to both elementary and secondary curricula in Canada.
Web docs will be excerpts from the main documentary and will feature:

Website and Social Media
The Yellow Wings to Victory website will be a portal for users to access all of the project’s media – from apps,
course guide, social media, to an online store, and embedded YouTube channel content.
YouTube. A dedicated YouTube channel will feature behind-the-scenes action via livestreams during
filming at the museums, online launch events , and will showcase video highlights from each segment.
Apps. Special mobile-media-friendly apps and segments drawn from the documentary.
Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter. These platforms will be used to educate followers on the progress
of the production, using contests and give-aways to build awareness and anticipation for the launch.
Email Marketing. Email will be the go-to marketing tool that covers those stakeholders and segments
of our target audience who are not users of social media. We will provide updates on the production,
upcoming screenings, museum events. notifications of contests and give-aways, and invitations to
subscribe to the various social platforms that offer more compelling content.
Website Launch Event – Documentary Premiere Event
Launch event to be held at one of the major aeronautical museums. Other CAPA museums to be live linked to
the launch with events at their own facilities. Press, social media launch featuring musical guests. The
individual museums can use this as a fundraising event in their own communities. The documentary will be
screened and the website content will be demonstrated.
